Linda Brown

linda-brownLinda Brown is the Vice President of Human Resources for communityworksinc/Minds Matter, LLC.   She worked for Shawnee Mission School District as an Employment Specialist for 16 years before joining community works/Minds Matter in 1996.  Linda Brown’s areas of expertise include recruitment, learning and leadership development, relationship building and conflict management. Linda’s passion is working at all levels of an organization to create work environments where all employees feel valued and fulfilled. Linda is a member of Concord College Advisory Committee and past member of SHRM.

Linda is a graduate of Mid America Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Relations.

Linda enjoys and believes in taking an active role in the community. She has volunteered at ‘The Lords Table” for the past 18 years and volunteers with ‘at –risk’ youth with the Bryan Reese Foundation.  She is also active in the Marlborough Community Improvement Project.  Linda was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and has been a proud resident of Kansas City since 1980.  Linda enjoys spending time with family and friends.
