Live. Independently.

Susan Williams

Susan WilliamsI started working with the Physical Disability waiver in 2007 as a Targeted Case Manager.  Finding Brain Injuries so interesting and seeing the need of support, in 2008 I took training for TLS Transitional Living Skill, then briefly following, I completed training to provide Targeted Case Management for the Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver.   In 2012 I transitioned with KanCare to offer Long Term Service and Supports for Physical Disability, Traumatic Brain Injury, Frail and Elderly and those that are in Nursing Facilities.  During these years I worked with members who wished to get out of institutions and move back into the community, helping them with the support of Money Follows the Person.  With my passion laying so strongly with Traumatic Brain Injury I started my journey with Mind’s Matter in 2014 as Regional Rehabilitation Director.

When I am not working I find myself busy being mom to 7 kids, helping my husband operate our farm, and tend to our livestock. I enjoy spending my time outdoors with my family and enjoying all the new life we have on our farm throughout the year.
