About Susan Williams

Bio

Susan Williams has been a Regional Rehabilitation Director for Mind’s Matter since June 2014. Learning and seeing firsthand early in life how life altering a Brain Injury can be to those who have suffered the injury as well as the family and loved ones drove her to wanting to help those that find themselves in these moments in their lives. Always having a want to help, support, assist, include others in daily life, drove her to wanting to work for a company that would allow her to put all those into play in her daily work, that lead her to Mind’s Matter where she is able to do those things daily and more! Susan’s favorite part is getting to see the progress that her consumers make with the support they get with their staff, assisting staff with ideas and cheering the consumers on as they are making their path in their new journey in life. Susan has had the opportunity to work and offer support to many since 2006, Susan, worked as a Targeted Case Manager for 7 years, as a Long-Term Support Service (Care Coordinator) for a year and half, and now as a Regional Rehabilitation Director for 9 years. Each role allowed Susan to work with and offer support to so many different people with a variety of needs along the way. Susan will tell you that she has learned so much from those that she has had the opportunity to assist over the years.
