Transitional Living Services
The Transitional Living Skills (TLS) Program helps consumers learn independent living skills to assist them to live, work and play in the community. TLS staff collaborate with therapists and consumers to implement specific strategies. By utilizing a goal plan created with direct consumer input, TLS staff teach individuals how to become more self-sufficient. TLS may include activities ranging from cooking and household tasks to creating a budget. TLS services are expected to decrease as the individual’s skills increase.
